CEP, a holding company of CITICPE, is a specialized environmental protection enterprise group that focuses on the whole industry chain investment and operation of hazardous waste disposal.

CEP owns 10 subsidiaries and 8 comprehensive hazardous waste disposal centers. Its business qualification covers 43 categories of 46 categories in the national hazardous waste list. The permitted capacity of hazardous waste disposal reaches 760,000 tons per year, ranking among the top in the industry in China.

Science and technology are the primary productive force. CEP always puts technological innovation and developing science and technology first in an important strategic position to develop and promote. At present, four subsidiaries of CEP have won “high-tech enterprises”. CEP has also received 62 invention and application patents with technological innovation strategy that puts equal emphasis on independent innovation and integrated social resources. Among them, the incineration disposal technology of organic chemical waste without combustion promoter has won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award.
